Papers of Coleman, a planter and merchant in Augusta County, Virginia, consisting of miscellaneous receipts; promissory notes; indentures; blacksmith charges; purchases of general merchandise for various members of the family, especially Coleman himself, his brother William, and his son Joseph; and an account, 1831, for auction of the estate of his mother, Judith [Coleman?] Tucker.
